Welcome to our class!
We are excited to be working as a mixed class this year. The Year One curriculum builds upon the experiences the children have had in F2 (Reception). Learning through play is still an important part of the school day and the children will be eased into more formal learning as the year progresses.
In Year 2 children start a more formal learning experience. We learn through lots of fun topics and exciting lessons. While still focusing on practical learning activities the children then start to access more abstract ideas
